Letter of Invitation
The congress organisation will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to delegates requesting an invitation letter for visa purposes. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from the congress to provide any financial support. The letter will be sent as a scanned document in an e-mail.
The entry formalities for the Kingdom of Denmark vary according to the country of origin. Congress delegates are asked to address enquiries about entry and vaccination requirements to the travel agent or to the local Royal Danish Embassy / Consulate / Representation in the home country. Further information can be obtained on www.um.dk/en.
The Metro train from Copenhagen Airport offers you a direct train every 4-6 minutes to the city centre of Copenhagen and will take approximately 14 minutes. Please check www.m.dk for further information.
A taxi from Copenhagen Airport to the city centre is approximately DKK 250 (no extra charges for suit-cases).
Liability and Insurance
Neither the Organisers (Copenhagen University) nor the Conference Secretariat will assume any responsibil-ity whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during the Conference.
Participants are recommended to arrange for their personal travel and health insurance.
The weather in Denmark in June is normally very pleasant, usually sunny. However, on occasion an umbrella may be useful. Daytime average temperature is around 180C, evening temperature around 100C. For more information please see: www.dmi.dk.
